SUPERVISION FOR THERAPISTS

Anne is a registered Integrative Supervisor accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Register, offering 1-2-1 differential supervision for recently qualified therapists and also informal peer supervision for those with more experience.

Therapists who work in areas of Hypnotherapy, Counselling or Stress Management are usually required to receive regular supervision in order to help them develop as practitioners and to safe-guard and support them in their work, assuring the best possible quality of care for their clients.

What is Supervision?

Supervision is a confidential working relationship between a Supervisor and Supervisee and is usually a requirement of the therapist's Professional Body.

Regular access to Supervision provides support in professional practice. The Supervisor can help the Supervisee to explore issues within their work with clients, give guidance and support on ethical issues, identify any further training needs, focus on best outcomes for clients etc.

The primary aim of Supervision is to protect the best interests of the client whilst providing the Supervisee with confidential and supportive 'space' to explore and evaluate their own working practice.

The Supervisory Contract

Prior to the first supervision session, a contract will be put in place which outlines the expectations of both Supervisor and Supervisee. This meeting will be free of charge and without obligation.

Anne will be pleased to discuss your particular requirements including the cost, duration and frequency of sessions.

Supervision is available 'face to face' or via telephone.
